The load, described by those present as "mostly t-shirts," was folded once shortly after 6pm, unfolded without explanation at 6:20, and folded again by 6:35 to a standard the man himself called "closer, but not it."

"He keeps holding one up and looking at it," said a housemate. "Then he puts it down. Then he picks up a different one. I've stopped asking."

The man declined to specify what outcome he was working toward, saying only that he would "know it when he saw it."

At press time the laundry remained on the couch, folded, in a configuration no one is permitted to disturb.
