The document — a two-page agenda, single-sided, black and white — emerged from the machine at 10:42am without a queue error, a paper jam, or a driver update.

Staff report the printer did not first claim to be offline while sitting three metres away on the same network. It did not request magenta toner for a black and white job. It simply printed.

"I pressed print and it printed," said one employee, still holding the pages. "I've worked here six years."

A second employee was observed writing the date on a sticky note and attaching it to the machine. The note has not been removed.

Facilities has confirmed no maintenance was performed, no settings were changed, and no one should touch anything.
